This lemon herb recipe is a healthy protein meal that is easy and quick to make. You can get so many flavours just from a few ingredients! If you prefer a more tangy and savoury taste, simply marinate the chicken in the morning and let the seasoning soak in all day and then cook it up during dinner time!

Chicken Breast - A great source of lean protein (protein without a lot of accompanying fat). It is a perfect addition to a balanced and healthy eating plan because people who eat enough protein are more likely to maintain muscle mass and preserve a healthy metabolism.

Basil - It can boost the function of the immune system by increasing certain immune cells in the blood.

All You Need Is 5 Simple Steps:

1. Place chicken breast in a container. Pour in olive oil, salt, black pepper, basil, rosemary. Mix everything together so that the chicken gets covered.

2. Let the marinade sit in for 30 minutes or up to 8 hours.

3. Preheat the oven to 200°C.

4. Place the chicken breast on a baking pan, layer lemon slices over the top, and bake for about 20 minutes.

5. Serve hot and garnish with freshly chopped parsley. 

#4 Pan-Seared Salmon With Asparagus 

If you’re looking for a healthy and quick dinner idea, congratulations, you’ve found it! This pan-seared salmon with asparagus is ready in 20 minutes and is packed with delicious flavours! I promise you’ll savour every bite!

5 Yummy Steps:

1. Season the salmon fillet with salt and black peppers and set aside.

2. Heat a tablespoon of olive oil in a large pan. Wait until the pan is hot and add the salmon fillet to cook for about 3-4 minutes on one side.

3. To the same pan, add the asparagus, season with salt and black pepper, and cook for another 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally until the asparagus is tender.

4. To serve, arrange salmon fillet and asparagus in the center of the plate, and place the lemon on the side.
